ABOUT US

Trinitones are Trinity College’s all male a capella group. They were set up in 2012 by two students of Trinity’s music department. Around 15 members in total, they have become arguably the university’s most successful singing group and are regularly even outnumbered by their audience. They have entertained audiences in a wide variety of venues including Croke Park and The Aviva stadia, Dublin’s Unitarian Church, Christchurch Cathedral, The Button Factory, The Sugar Club and Trinity College Chapel. Whilst regularly performing at Trinity Ball their biggest achievement to date came in September 2015 when they performed two shows at Electric Picnic. Trinitones have also competed at international level. In 2015 they were the only Irish group to compete in the ICCA’s (International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella) in London. The group’s repertoire ranges from classic Justin Bieber tracks to more recent hits by the likes of The Beatles. They are not only renowned for their harmonic vocalisation but also for entertainment and humour, leaving audiences wanting more. For bookings see our contact section.
